BELLA is a female black and white staffy cross. She is a lovely affectionate dog and is generally good with other dogs. However she can try and be dominant sometimes with both dogs and people once she gets her confidence with them and so would require a home who are prepared to continue with her demotive training.

Dogs Requiring EXTRA SPECIAL Homes:

The following 10 dogs that are in our care require homes that are prepared to give that "little bit extra" in order to take on their new hairy friend.

Each of them has not only come out of the stray pound moments before death but unfortunately, through no fault of their own, have received treatment from their previous owners, that has resulted in them having a range of either physiological or behavioural traits, as well.

To this end each of these dogs has been receiving one to one counselling and gentle training in order for them to rebuild their confidence and be able to recover from their past ordeals, at a specialist training centre.

We are very happy to say that these guys have now completed their courses and are ready to move on and find their special homes.

Because of their pasts, unless otherwise stated, each of these lovely lads and lasses will need to find homes without any other animals, no children under 12, and homes who have had experience of owning dogs previously. Any potential adopter must also be prepared to visit the training centre and undergo an assessment with the dog before the adoption takes place, and then revisit the centre 1 week after the adoption for a further assessment. Any potential adopter must be prepared to continue with any ongoing training as recommended by the training centre. Of course both the charity and the training centre will provide all the new owners with any support that they may need.

If you are interested in adopting one of these special dogs please call CHRIS on 07971 578963 who can then provide further information from the Training Centre.
