9 Lives Cat Rescue wrote to tell RescuePet about their rehoming success: "I maintain the 9 lives Cat rescue web site and the database entries for Helen. She doesn't have email, but has asked me to thank you as she's rehomed all her cats through rescue pet!
"The cats were all handed in to the rescue by their owners as unwanted domestic pets. One of the queens was pregnant ~ hence the kittens ~ as it was too late to do anything about that. They were all rehomed within 2 weeks of being put into the database and all to lovely homes. "Helen says she cant believe how many people obviously took the trouble to look up her site and she's very pleased. She has actually rehomed more than the cats that were on the database through rescuepet. People were still phoning her looking for a cat, and she'd got more cats in during that time, so the figures rehomed through rescuepet are actually better than I told you. "It's as well really that she was able to home some of the cats because we have been inundated with rescue dogs and she's been fostering those too. "This year alone I have homed 5 dogs through people who got to me through your site, and hopefully this weekend 2 of our 3 pups are going the same way:-) Not bad considering we're not half way through the first month eh?:-) " |
